Overview
Puffling™ is a baby tracking app built with native Swift using Apple-provided frameworks and services. Your privacy is fundamental to how Puffling™ is designed — we don't collect, store, or have access to any of your personal data.
Data Storage
All data you enter into Puffling™ — including feeds, sleep records, nappy changes, health events, growth measurements, and child profiles — is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account. We have no servers that receive or store your data, and we cannot access your iCloud data.
No Tracking or Cookies
Puffling™ does not use any third-party analytics, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies. There are no cookies, no user accounts, and no sign-up process. The app does not track your behaviour or build any kind of profile about you.
Apple-Provided Analytics
If you have opted in through your Apple device settings, Apple may collect anonymous diagnostic data such as crash reports and performance metrics. This data is aggregated and anonymised by Apple before we see it. We use this solely to identify and fix bugs. You can manage this in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Website Analytics
The Puffling™ website (puffling.app) is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare provides privacy-focused, aggregated analytics that help us understand general visitor trends such as page views and visit counts. This data is anonymous and does not use cookies or track individual users. No personal information is collected through the website.
Third-Party Services
Puffling™ does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs beyond what Apple provides as part of iOS. There are no external servers, no social logins, and no data shared with any third party.
Data Retention & Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the Puffling™ app will remove all locally stored data. If you use iCloud sync, your data may persist in your iCloud account after the app is deleted. You can manage or delete this data through your device's Settings under your Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage.
Children's Privacy
Puffling™ is designed for use by parents and guardians to track information about their children — it is not intended to be used by children themselves. All data entered remains entirely on your device and within your personal iCloud account. We never have access to any information about you or your children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new date. Given the nature of Puffling™'s privacy-first design, we don't anticipate significant changes.
